Where the Wild Things Are with theTerrible Yellow Eyes

I painted this one for the Terrible Yellow Eyes Blog (http://www.terribleyelloweyes.com/) and because Maurice Benard Sendak (he whos shoes I am unworthy to tie) is one of the greatest artists to ever live. I still have my old Where the Wild Things book... it has a lot of my 3 year old self pencil doodle monsters!!!

Matt Matt that was so fun to view all of the art online. I wish I could've been there in person. I love it! How amazing is it that people can take a simple phrase from a book and create such different and distinct works of art. Wow! Yours is wonderful. I've decided that all I want from you for every holiday is a piece of artwork. It thrills me to see it:)

I'll add my praises, too! Any artwork from you will always be graciously accepted and cherished. BTW, do you remember the still-life you painted for me many years ago? I will gladly buy my own frame. The way you write M@TtHeW is very creative and fun, like you have signed your name for many years. I love you lots and lots, Matt-Matt.
